Condition is For Parts ot Not Working. They ALL work (Read Below) - they were used less than a year in a super-clean office (not factory or warehouse) environment.

Cosmetically very good to excellent condition. Some have ThinOS 8.4. Some have ThinOS 8.6 (Allows new config from a USB). At least 7 of them need a CMOS battery, resulting in LED Flash (Amber not Blue) code 3,1 CMOS battery failure.

These units with this issue must be powered-on a few times in a row and you will the message as shown in the pic and it will boot if F1 is used and as long as the power is on it should pic up date/time from Ethernet and can be used however once powered off will have the same issue. The 7 units with this issue (at day of listing) will have a label on the underside indicating the issue (see Pic). These bad CMOS batteries are a pre-mature failure, probably a bad batch? A pic of the CMOS battery is shown from a 3040 (not one of the sale units).

The shrink-wrap over old battery can be opened, old battery removed, new one installed with a carefully used tiny strip of aluminum duct-tape to connect the wires back to the new battery terminals and then covered back in electric tape to substitute for the shrink wrap. For sale is the 17 units shown in the pics along with the power supplies - nothing else is included.
